Dear Sirs! Welcome to St.Petersburg!

St. Petersburg is maritime and innovative capital of Russia, it is the city with big scientific industrial potential where are situated enterprises of leading branch of industry: shipbuilding, power-eachine building, car building, power engineering transport. The city is now taking one of the leading positions in the country in terms of economy modernization. The transferring of the city’s industrial structure into the  new innovative way of development is the task, set among the priorities for  the  Government of St.Petersburg.

It is a great pleasure for us to welcome you to the 15-thInternational welding exhibition «Svarka-Welding 2012». Within its 40 year history «Svarka/Welding» has taken the leading position among other largest industrial forums of Russia, CIS and Baltic countries; it is now regarded as a very important event, targeted to develop Russian welding industry and make for the modernization of the industrial sector of the Russian economy and its rapid technical upgrade.

«Svarka/Welding – 2012»: venue for efficient work  and for new ideas about the progress  in international joining, cutting and surfacing technology.

Welding is one of the most important technological processes. The quality of welded splices affects not only the construction outlook, but its technological characteristics, safety of exploitation and durability.

The improvement of produce quality in our machine-building industry is impossible without the implementation of new welding technologies, equipment and materials, generated on the basis of the latest achievements of our fundamental and applied science.

Successful welding development requires the promotion of technical achievements in this sphere. During the long years of its existence the exhibition has managed to take the leading position among the largest industrial forums, conducted in Russia, and has become the platform for productive work, which includes efficient cooperation, exchange of knowledge and experience among the specialists. 

The main task for «Svarka/Welding 2012» is introduction of the latest welding technologies in welding branch of industry due to the Programme of the Russian economy modernization.

Svarka/Welding  2010. Participants: 168 companies from 10 countries. There were leading Russian and world manufacturers of welding equipment, scientific and research companies, small enterprises and trade representations. Exhibition Space: 9700 sq/m. Visitors: More than 4000 visitors-specialists.
