"Welding" exhibition - 40 years of success!

The exhibition, which celebrated its 40^th anniversary in 2008, will be held in the exhibition and congress center "Lenexpo" (St. Petersburg) in May, 2010.

The history of the "Welding" exhibition dates back to 1969. The choice of the exhibition venue was nonrandom. One of the most significant industrial centers could present its visitors and participants the unique scientific researches, innovative technical solutions, equipment and materials. St. Petersburg was and still remains the first-rate market of welding equipment in Russia. And for 40 years the "Welding" exhibition has been the most important event of the sphere in Russia.

Once in two years during the "Welding" exhibition in "Lenexpo" Russian specialists have the opportunity to study out the novelties in the spheres of technology and equipment for welding and thermal cutting, welding materials and supplies, automated welding control systems, welding robots and welding complexes of the last generation.

St. Petersburg is the country largest transportation and logistics center with the huge potential for further development. Over the past several years the growth rates of industrial production in St. Petersburg exceeded twofold the Russian average performance.  The city is the perfect venue for realization of the large-scale infrastructure projects (ports, roads, pipelines, etc.) including the ones with the international participation.
